Alex Simmonds
REGISTERED ACUPUNCTURIST
Alex has been immersed in holistic healthcare since childhood, shaping a deep passion for helping others heal. She holds dual diplomas in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and has dedicated her career to supporting clients through personalized, whole-body care.
Specializing in women’s health, reproductive wellness, chronic pain, sports injuries, digestive issues, and mental health, she has helped countless women navigate their health journeys, addressing concerns from menstruation to menopause with a compassionate and integrative approach. Since beginning practice in Alberta, she has worked closely with clients to improve well-being through customized treatments, blending ancient wisdom with modern techniques. Collaborating with a sound healing practitioner, she has also offered deeply restorative experiences at various events.
Committed to continuous learning, she has completed Module 1 of the Balance Method from Dr. Tan and Level 1 training in Heat Sensitive Moxibustion. A variety of therapeutic techniques are woven into treatments, including traditional acupuncture, fire cupping, gua sha, electrical stimulation, and auricular therapy, all tailored to individual needs.
A session is more than just treatment—it’s an opportunity to feel grounded, relaxed, and deeply cared for. Education is a key part of the experience, ensuring each client leaves feeling empowered and informed while also giving the body space to restore.
Grateful for the opportunity to practice this healing art, the focus remains on helping others feel their best—physically, mentally, and emotionally—while guiding each person toward greater balance, health, and well-being.
