Hayley O’Hara
REGISTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST | CLINIC DIRECTOR | YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Hayley is a Registered Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist and Certified Yoga Instructor dedicated to transforming pelvic health by blending physiotherapy, yoga, and holistic wellness. As the founder and Clinical Director of Higher State Health and Wellness Club, she has created a space where clients feel supported, empowered, and deeply cared for.
She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Physiology and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Her passion for women’s health and perinatal care led her to pursue advanced training in pelvic floor therapy, dry needling, clinical Pilates, cesarean recovery, and pediatric pelvic health. She specializes in guiding women through pregnancy, birth preparation, and postpartum recovery, helping them regain strength, confidence, and function in their core and pelvic floor. She also works with children experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, ensuring they receive gentle and effective care tailored to their needs.
Beyond her clinical work, Hayley is a passionate educator and advocate for pelvic health, having served on the board of the Women’s Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and contributed to multiple women’s health initiatives. She believes knowledge is power and is committed to equipping her clients with the tools they need to make informed decisions about their health at every stage of life.
A session with Hayley feels calm, gentle, and deeply supportive—like a conversation with someone who truly understands. Her relaxed and relatable approach creates a safe space for healing, whether she’s guiding clients through pelvic floor therapy, yoga, or a blend of both.
Outside of her practice, she continuously expands her expertise, having completed 200 hours of yoga training in Toronto, 80 hours of advanced training in Costa Rica, and multiple yoga retreats. She brings this deep understanding of movement and mindfulness into every session, helping clients feel strong, balanced, and at ease in their bodies.

I used to play Rugby in highschool - this seems to shock everyone when I mention it. I was Winger, but not especially good.

The ideal evening would involve restorative yoga, a nice meal, and snuggling on the couch with my dog Waffle while we watch a cheesy Netflix series

I love an americano in the morning

This year I unfortunately had zero spare time haha (two kids under two) but I love spending time with my girls - taking them to the park, zoo, aquarium, indoor play centers. Otherwise, I keep my sanity with a relaxing nighttime skincare routine and Yoga at least twice a week.
