Hayley O’Hara

REGISTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST | CLINIC DIRECTOR | YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Hayley is a Registered Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist and Certified Yoga Instructor on a mission to transform the practice of Pelvic Health by blending Pelvic Floor Therapy, Yoga, and wellness. Her passion for women and family health led to founding Higher State Health and Wellness Club, where she currently practices, teaches, and operates as Clinical Director.

Hayley obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Physiology and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Hayley went on to complete advanced courses in perinatal care and dry needling. She found her niche working with women from conception to birth to help them prepare for labour and delivery as well as to restore function in their core and pelvic floor muscles after birth.

Hayley is passionate about knowledge translation and education in pelvic health. These passions have led to multiple philanthropic endeavours on behalf of women’s organizations, including operating for several years on the board of the Women’s Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Hayley is motivated to equip all of her clients with the knowledge and confidence to make the best decisions for their health, throughout all stages of life and motherhood, so they can always feel their best.

  • Pelvic Health Physiotherapy | Orthopaedics | Yoga

  • I have the ability to help others understand their bodies better, feel better, move better, and live better. I love what I do.

  • I used to play Rugby in highschool - this seems to shock everyone when I mention it. I was Winger, but not especially good.

  • The ideal evening would involve restorative yoga, a nice meal, and snuggling on the couch with my dog Waffle while we watch a cheesy Netflix series

  • I love an americano in the morning

  • This year I unfortunately had zero spare time haha (two kids under two) but I love spending time with my girls - taking them to the park, zoo, aquarium, indoor play centers. Otherwise, I keep my sanity with a relaxing nighttime skincare routine and Yoga at least twice a week.

  • Take probiotics (with the direction of a Naturopath)! Gut health has a huge impact on your overall health and wellness, from metabolism to mental health to sleep.
